Senior Chief Green is a Kansas native and graduated from Decatur Community High School in Oberlin, Kansas.  He began his military service when he enlisted in the Navy on September, 5th 1995.  He reported to boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois.  He was selected as the Recruit Chief Petty Officer in Charge to lead his division and graduated as Honor Recruit for his division.  Upon completion of boot camp he reported to Air Traffic Control “A” school in Pensacola Florida where he graduated top in his class.

Senior Chief Green reported to Tactical Air Control Squadron 12 in Coronado California and served as the Tactical Control Center Supervisor and Command Fitness Leader.

 

His follow on tours of duty consist of:

 

• Naval Air Station, Lemoore, California

• Naval Auxiliary Landing Field, San Clemente Island

• Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center – Forward Deployed Al Asad Air Base, Iraq

• Naval Air Station, Lemoore, California

• Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, Texas

• Naval Auxiliary Landing Field, San Clemente Island

 

He earned multiple qualfications throughout his tours, including Faciilty Watch Supervisor, Tower Control Chief, Radar Supervisor, Arrival, Departure, Final Control, Military Operations Area controller and Command Fitness Leader,

 

Senior Chief Green earned the following awards during his 26 years of military service; Navy Commendation Medal(3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal(6 awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal(8 awards), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal(2), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal and various other campaign and service awards.  He was also selected as Air Traffic Controller of the year twice. He is a Deans list graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy(Class 201 GRAY).

 

Additionally, he earned his Master’s Degree in Business Managagment from Columbia Southern University.

 

Senior Chief Green is married to the former Alicia Salvian of Kerman, California and has two children, Tristan and Zackery. They reside in Clermont, Florida.
