
WHO WE ARE
The Winter Park Navy Junior Officer Training Corps Program is one of over 600 NJROTC programs nationwide. The NJROTC program was established by Public Law in 1964 and may be found in Title 10, U.S. Code, Chapter 102. The program is conducted at accredited secondary schools throughout the nation. Our curriculum emphasizes leadership development, critical thinking, organizational operations, and service to the community.
Our program is administered by certified prior active duty United States Navy and Marine Corps instructors. Naval customs, courtesies, and related maritime subjects are an integral part of our core curriculum. However, no military commitment or service is incurred by participation in NJROTC. Our goal is assist in the development of our students to be able to accomplish their college or career goals in whatever industry they choose.

ECG Required School Year 2022-2023
Orange County School District Policy requires all Cadets to have a valid ECG and Sports Physical to participate in NJROTC. If a Cadet already completed an ECG, it is valid for all of high school. However, a new Sports Physical must be completed every year.
